Join us for open sewing classes here at Sew and Vac! Have an unfinished project, need some advice, need a big sewing area, want to share your latest project or just to sew with other sewers? This is the class for you. Registration required, class size limited.
Cost: $ 25.00

This class will be 4 sessions. Learn cutting, piecing, block assembly; quilt your project and put binding on. Homework is required to complete this quilt.

This is a 3 part class for the beginner sewer or to refresh your sewing skills. You will make a pillowcase, a tote bag with a boxed bottom, and a zipper bag. Each project will bring you new sewing skills, while getting more familiar with a sewing machine. Classroom machines will be available. Supplies included

Calling all pet owners to do their own unique pet quilt! This class for experienced sewers.

Make this reversible apron in a two session class! The cross-back style ensures a comfortable fit without the need for neck straps, and the reversible feature means you’re essentially getting two aprons in one. You can make it for the holidays on one side and everyday on the other. Have fun with embellishing it too! You can customize the sizing as you make the apron. The pattern by Olga from Ageberry is included in the class fee. Students provide their own fabrics and thread.
Every day is a good day to use up scraps. Grab you bag of scraps and let's turn them into a tote bag you can use again and again. I have used up scraps from baby fabric filled it with great stuff for baby showers, did the same for Mothers Day and Birthdays. Scraps, ideas and conversation can be shared all night.
