Albany - Patterns and Pajamas
This four session class is designed as a follow up to our Beginner Sewing Class. Students in this class will learn the basics of using a sewing pattern while making a pair of pajamas.

This class is designed as a follow up to our Beginner Sewing Class. Students learn the basics of using a pattern while making a pair of pajamas. This includes reading pattern information, purchasing fabric, and garment construction. Completion of our Beginner Sewing Class or permission of instructor is a prerequisite for this class. Pattern is included with tuition.
Students will purchase their own fabrics for this project during or after the first class session.
A sewing machine in good working order - or student may use classroom machine
Sewing machine manual;
Bobbins;
Straight pins;
7" or 8" sewing scissors;
Erasable fabric pen or fabric marker;
Seam gauge;
Seam ripper;
Tape measure

Instructor Bio:
Lisa has been with the Albany Sewing Machine Center for ten years. She started sewing as a child in 4H. A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, she spent many years teaching Family and Consumer Sciences (aka Home Economics) in area schools. Her other professional experiences include being a Professional Organizer, and a Kitchen Designer. In all of these endeavors teaching has been at the heart of her approach.
She loves that working and teaching at Albany Sewing Machine Center has enabled her to meet the many "kindred spirits" that visit our store.
