Albany: Beginning Quilting Class Part One



Supplies needed:

3rd Edition Start Quilting with Alex Anderson book (available at the store)
(2) Light colored fabrics 1/3 yard each
(2) Medium colored fabrics 1/3 yard each
(3-4) Of a colorway (class sample used yellow) 1/3 yard each
(3-4) Different colorway (class sample used green) 1/3 yard each
Inner Border 1/4 yard
Outer Border 1 yard
1/4" foot for your sewing machine (some machines may call it a patchwork foot)
Neutral thread (gray or tan work well) 
Basic sewing machine tools (extra needles, seam ripper, sewing machine manual, scissors, 
Sewing Machine in good working order
Backing fabric 1-1/4 yard (purchase for week 3 of the class)
Binding fabric 3/8 yard (purchase for week 3 of the class)
Batting-crib size approximately 45"x45"-bigger batting is fine (purchase for week 3 of the class)
