Albany: Charming Star Placemats
You will need the following:
Pattern provided by store
Fabric (per the pattern)
40-5" Charm squares dark prints OR 1 yd of fabric for dark triangles and 1/4 yd for focus fabric (center squares)
32-5" Charm squares light background OR 1 yd of light background
1/3 yd - Inner border for placemats
1 yd - Outer border for placemats and runner
2 yds - Backing for placemats and runner
Batting (approximately 17"x21" but not smaller than noted)
Thread for both piecing and top stitching (might want to change colors)

Instructor Bio:
Nicole graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Interior Design. Shortly after being married, she was introduced to the world of quilting (even though growing up her mom also quilted, she never showed interest or had the time). She has now been quilting for 23 years and has been professionally quilting locally for other quilters since 2015. She mainly does free motion quilting, grid work as well as some ruler work. She is ready to share her love of quilting to other quilters who are interested in learning this beautiful craft.
