Albany Skill Builders Series
In this three part series students will learn about and make samples of a variety of zipper installations, seam finishes, and hemming techniques that can be used in sewing.
Skill Requirements: Need to have taken Beginner Sewing/Refresher class, or be an advanced beginner with a working knowledge of your sewing machine.
Supplies:
Students should bring: their sewing machine, thread and bobbins. Or they may use a classroom machines
Additional supplies:
Basic sewing supplies to class: scissors, fabric marking tools, thread, straight pins, seam gauge -
Fabrics and zippers will be provided.
