Albany Tote bag

We have a panel tote bag available for sale and I decided (being the quilter that I am) that I wanted to highlight the design and add texture to the overall background.
We will push your skills to free motion quilt (or stitch in the ditch if you are more comfortable), use two different type of stabilizers, add lining and pockets to make this a fun and functional tote bag. Perfect for summer or even all year long.
Skill Level: | Intermediate |
Skill Details: | Build your skills by making a tote bag and doing some quilting along the way. |
Requirements: | You will need to purchase the tote bag panel at the store. We will also be using a 1/2 yard fabric for the lining, scraps for pockets (fat quarter in size), 1/2 yard of fusible fleece and 1/2 yard SF101 stabilizer (or equivalent). We have these items available in the store for purchase as well if needed. Please bring a working sewing machine with power cord, foot pedal, manual, all necessary accessories, your free motion quilting foot or walking foot, matching threads |
