Albany Mug Rugs and Table Runners
Join us for an afternoon of fun and laughter with fabric enthusiasts. Together we will make a table runner and mug rugs. This is a great gift idea to brighten your environment with color and seasonal fabric. Bring your own machine in proper working order (there are limited classroom machines available if needed). Also bring thread, scissors, cutting tools, sewing machine manual, and any other sewing supplies you typically use.
Mug Rug requirements: please bring to class six 6" squares for one mug rug. FYI: If you are looking to make more, you can make a set of eight mug rugs from six fat quarters.
Table runner requirements: please bring to class 1/4 yd. full width of fabric and 1/2 yd. full width of contrasting fabric.
Remember to think through coordinating threads for your project. If you want to do decorative stitches, think through any contracting or complimentary threads as well.
